Motivational Keynotes

  • LIFE!- Life is an experience, full of extreme joys and the hard sorrows. Our attitudes, hopes and beliefs come from life's lessons, which are not always our successes. Presented in an entertaining format, and guaranteed to appeal to all ages, illustrative examples are used to teach LIFE! principles applicable in the every day.
  • How to Grow Global Leaders- There is a growing demand for global leaders, but an insufficient supply. How do we grow global leaders to execute our global business strategy? Based on John's dissertation research, this talk focuses on personality traits, global leadership competencies, and learning & development methods. A global view of leadership skills is given through leadership stories from around the world, including: the cannibals of Fiji, Alfred Nobel's prize in Scandinavia, Russia's Kremlin, and more. This presentation's illustrative examples teach key leadership principles applicable in the workplace.
  • Change!- Nobody likes change, yet everyone experiences it. This presentation uses illustrative examples to teach change management principles applicable in the workplace. Examples of change are given, with an emphasis on effective change strategies in the midst of mass resistance. This is an appropriate business workshop for the organization beginning a change effort, or the organization encountering resistance to a current change effort.

Educational Workshops

  • Corporate Cheerleading- Employees need to be engaged and motivated, but how does a company do this? This talk is about the motivation of employees from a former cheerleading coach, with many cheerleading examples from collegiate, international, and Olympic teams. This presentation uses illustrative examples teaching motivation principles applicable in the workplace.
  • Varsity Team- An educational workshop focused on team-building and communication. Talk describes teamwork principles applicable in the workplace, and uses examples from the sports arena are used to illustrate the qualities of successful teams. The topics covered include setting the foundation, composing & developing, decision-making, handling conflicts, and communicating effectively.
  • Customer-Centered- Using the Customer Service perspective, examples are given on how to make a difference to the bottom line with your attitude. Proven methods are shared to keep customers satisfied, happy, and buying more. This workshop will show participants how to build successful, growing businesses, as well as enhance the reputation, productivity, profitability, and future of their companies.
  • Balancing & Prioritizing 1440 Minutes- Time management...many talk about it, but few do it very well. How do you lead a balanced life? How do you manage multiple priorities when everyone expects you to successfully multi-task? Usually, this ends up creating more stress than productivity, and will label one a "firefighter." By establishing processes to create efficiencies, and being aware of time waster to eliminate inefficiencies, one will achieve more! Illustrative examples, interactive discussion, and applicable tools make this workshop one that will be utilized immediately in the workplace. Participants leave this workshop with a clear understanding of how ROI (Return on Investment) applies to more than just financial investment...it applies to time investment, too!
